Mentor Training
We began training our first mentor training class on Tuesday, December 4th. We had an excellent turnout, with four friends of N2LIFE and four mentor prospects joining us to discuss what it takes to be a prison mentor. Our class finishes up next Tuesday. Lansing Correctional Facility Classes
We are currently teaching our second class to the inmates at Lansing Correctional Facility (LCF). The class is called "Getting Motivated To Change", and it looks at what motivation is and how to use positive self-talk and accountability to accomplish goals for life change. These are subjects that we are experts on, so it has been very enjoyable examining these issues with the participants. We plan to continue to train other classes going forward in the new year.
